Graduate Education and Expertise in Piano Performance

Rita Lewandowski is skilled at assisting students in perfecting pieces to the highest level of performance, emphasizing musicality and technique. Rita enjoys teaching students of all ages and abilities. Lessons at the Lewandowski Studio are ideal for the advanced student with ambitions in performance. Importantly, Rita Lewandowski teaches students to interpret music on their own and develop and achieve their own personal style of musicianship.

High Level of Education

Rita Lewandowski is able to teach students at a high level in music theory, preparing them for music theory and AP music theory in high school. She is knowledgeable of all piano literature throughout all of music history

Grand Piano

Pupils take lessons and perform their recitals on grand pianos, instead of electric keyboards, thus achieving an advanced level of technique. A full-size electric keyboard is also available, if desired.

Technique

Student’s learn to achieve proper pedal technique, a critical, but often overlooked skill at the instructional level. Students learn to perform scales and chord progressions in all major and minor keys.

Reading Music
